Texworld and Apparel fairs in Paris.

Due to open on February 11 2018 in Paris at Le Bourget is the joint fairs of Apparel Sourcing, Avantex, Shawls&Scarves, Texworld Denim and Texworld Paris.

Organisers at Messe Frankfurt France have scheduled a busy programme of  informative conferences and seminars for trade visitors and attending professionals to gain insights into  the various sectors of the evolving textile and garment industry which will be co-hosted by a number of top officials from different participating countries and exhibitors.

Subjects being covered include an Overview of the European and worldwide foreign trade in 2017; the good practises in apparel sourcing; Materials and components, Transparencies and new materials, the strengths and constraints of European manufacturers and speakers will include experts and professionals from Germany and Austria.

There will also be key country highlights including a talk on Ethiopia, a new international hub in apparel sourcing by His Excellency Dr Bekele Bulado, Minister of Trade; and another on Myanmar, as a competitive hub for the apparel sourcing  by representatives of the Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association.  A talk on the East-European apparel suppliers: performances and perspectives.

There is also a Smart Retail Round Table discussion on V-Commerce and Artificial Intelligence and how innovations can improve the customer experience, and benefit physical retailing, and another on Round Table discussion on Prototype Studio on the effects the progresses in robotics and AI will have on our way to design clothes.

The European Fashion Council will give a lecture on Sustainability: "Greenwash and commercializing values", and a seminar by design and research experts will be held on Clothing & Accessories  trends and technologies.

Also there will be presentations on Spring-Summer 2019 fabric, styling and colour trends by colour authority Pantone.

Fashion by Bangladesh and Ethiopia will be presented on Catwalk shows as will other presentations on denim as well as Apparel Sourcing meets Shawls & Scarves.
