Images of Osprey London Flagship

The shop features an eclectic mix of leather goods, accessories and unusual home and lifestyle products, carefully selected, crafted and conceived to reflect the ethos of the brand's quality image.
Jack Ellisdon, son of designer and founder Graeme, puts the finishing touches to the display of Esquestian Leather Collection, launched to mark the opening of Osprey London St James.

Apart from the craftily made leather bags and timeless fashion accessories, many of the products would not be out of place in a taxidermy shop or a museum even.

The Lower Ground Floor is accessed via a new staircase built to the brand's design.  Inspired by icons of natural history, the staircase features oak treads, flame-treated to harden the surface and highlight the grain with metal ridge details.  The sculptural balustrade sections are hand-formed and finished rather than cast.  On the half-landing is a recessed display area.  Overhanging is a large, vintage-inspired crystal chandelier with French plisse silk shades.

The lower ground floor has an informal feel featuring walls clad in reclaimed floorboards.

For that unusual gift, limited edition cushions in exotic fabrics designed by Rifat Ozbek, a drift-wood  horse bust, or British hand-made wool sheep complete with own cross-over leather bag.
